P20 steel is most popular for bucket mould, high-grade forged tool steel relatively free fo defacts; it is available in a prehardened steel. It can be textured or polished to almost any desired finish and it is a tough material. Bucket mould often inserted with copper alloys (beryllium copper) for fast cooling, is used to meed specific requirements to meet tool life and cost. The choice of steel is often limited, particulary by the available sizes of the blocks or plates that are required for the large tools. Mould steel can be customized according customer’s requirement. Such as 718 steel, inserted with beryllium copper, etc.
Bucket mould runner system.
Plastic bucket mould can be designed with cold runner and hot runner system. For the big capacity bucket mould, usually mould with one cavity, so mold will be designed with cold sprue or hot sprue.
Bucket mould ejection system.
Bucket mould usually designed with air ejection, strip plate or central ejector block.
